GATEWAY TO MASTERY® Summer Institute
Join us for an intensive “how to” training and fun-filled learning experience. The GATEWAY TO MASTERY institute integrates the Quality Management philosophy of Continuous Improvement with the latest brain and assessment research, cognitive theory, child psychology and systems thinking to improve every aspect of the school and classroom. The Summer Institute will be held at Noblesville High School, Noblesville, IN and offers 3 days of training, tools and materials as well as CRU’s and graduate credit from Indiana State University. Participants will gain knowledge and experience in all Three Disciplines of GATEWAY TO MASTERY: Culture, Knowledge and Performance Mastery™. The Burgard's will combine modeling, practice, lecture, discussions, group work and activities into the schedule which includes opportunities to learn theory and practice, experience the student’s perspective, practice the teacher’s role and receive the necessary preparation time to implement the philosophy at the start of the next school year. Indiana State University will offer graduate level credits while CRU's will be available through Indiana NCA. The workshop is facilitated by Jeff and Jacquie Burgard who successfully developed and pioneered Continuous Improvement techniques for the school and classroom. "I absolutely loved the entire week.
