For Administrators

 

 

Efforts towards district and school improvement often begin with blame. This lack  of Systems Thinking perpetuates destructive cycles that divert focus from root causes and diminish enthusiasm for those individuals working within the school system.

 

Culture Mastery is a foundational workshop for administrators that removes fear and blame by getting to the root cause of problems and establishing a culture of Quality Management/Continuous Improvement in the school/district.

  • Creates an understanding of the school as a system

  • Models a management style that removes barriers and fear to manage people and learning more efficiently and effectively

  • Establishes core values for the school/district

  • Establishes a common aim for the school/district

  • Enables administrators to break out of the limiting  "Plan Do" mentality and utilize feedback loops for school/district improvement

  • Shows what data to collect and utilizes data to monitor progress and improve in any aspect of school/district

  • Enables administrators to monitor and document class and school/district progress

  • Utilizes an effective method to collect the input and feedback necessary to to create an environment most conducive to a staff's growth, feeling of support and professional learning

  • Allows administrators and teachers to test hypothesis  for school/district improvement

  • Establishes and maintains better relationships with staff through the building mutual trust

  • Engages teachers and students as partners in the school improvement process

  • Utilizes good psychology to restore and maintain         staff enthusiasm

 

Culture Mastery allows administrators to create a continuously improving learning system in an environment that supports and honors the professionals on their staff through a culture of collegiality, collaboration, respect     and trust.
